  • I just wanted to send a quick note to thank you again for all your amazing work with our child. Today UW Harborview Medical Center was awarded a Center of Excellence designation from the Angioma Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformations. As there are only a handful of such centers worldwide, there was a ceremony to celebrate this honor and our child was one of the stars of the show. The entire video of him on his bike tearing down the path at Grass Lawn Park (during Camp Waypoint) was applauded by the attendees. We sent that video to his neurosurgeon and he was so touched by it that he has held onto it all this time. He said our child’s recovery from brain stem surgery continues to amaze him and that it was his wish - among others - that all his patients could have the caliber of physical therapists that our child was fortunate to have. I wanted to thank you again for being such an irreplaceable part of our child’s journey.
